百年变局时代，充满机遇，但同时也伴随挑战。党的二十大报告提出：“推动经济社会发展绿色化、低碳化是实现高质量发展的关键环节”。近年来全球气候危机、技术封锁、资源短缺等人与自然共生矛盾凸出。“矛”与“盾”的纠结时代提醒我们，生态是人类命运共同体，不断驱动着全人类要敬畏自然环境。

习近平总书记在两院院士大会上深刻指出：“学科之间、科学和技术之间、技术之间、自然科学和人文社会科学之间日益呈现交叉融合趋势，科学技术从来没有像今天这样深刻影响着国家前途命运，从来没有像今天这样深刻影响着人民生活福祉。”随着近年来科学技术的迅速发展，人类面临的新问题日益复杂，仅仅依靠单一学科的研究往往难以解决。因此，多学科交叉开始汇聚并趋向高度融合方向发展。

举办“生态驱动 融合创新”第八届生态设计国际学术会议暨“设计+”高峰论坛，旨在为共同探讨“设计+工程”与生态、技术、工程等领域深度结合，是一次典型的多学科交叉融合的学术研讨会，代表着对人类未来的无限探索与和谐共生需求的深度反思。也为实现低碳、智能、和谐共生的解决方案，为社会发展、环境危机和人类生存带来积极变革！

论坛就会议议题征集组织专题分会，请有意向参加专题分会的学者投递论文，会务组将评选优秀论文在专题分会作报告，并设置一等奖1名，二等奖2名，三等奖5名，优秀奖5名，荣誉证书加盖湖北省一级协会章。特别优秀论文将推荐给合作学术期刊。
